"Aviva Drescher is rumored to be one of Bravo's newest stars...but is the philanthropist and Mom too nice?"
She is definitely not on the show. Not at all. Nope.
Earlier this week, I was fortunate to have lunched with Aviva Drescher (rumored to be starring on this season's The Real Housewives of New York), at our favorite Upper East Side diner, 3 Guys on Madison Avenue. Over our Corfu salads, two born-and-bred New York City gals chatted about growing up in New York, falling in love, getting hearts broken, overcoming tragedy, the importance of philanthropy, and ultimately, living the fabulous life in New York.
“Real Housewife” Aviva Drescher will be in bed this Thanksgiving icing an injured ankle after she fell down a flight of stairs at her fifth wedding anniversary party at the Empire Room. The latest addition to Bravo’s New York “Housewives” lost her balance on a platform where she was to give a speech with her husband Reid, a Cape One Financial partner. “She toppled down the stairs,” a spy said. She got back up and walked around balancing on her other leg, a prosthetic. Drescher’s leg was amputated at age 6 after an ankle caught in a conveyor belt. Sonja Morgan, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and newbies Carole Radziwill and Heather Thompson attended the bash, filmed by Bravo.
The newest member of Real Housewives of New York, Aviva Drescher, posed for a picture with her husband Reid, their adorable children and actress Fran Drescher at Fran Drescher's new picture book celebration of "Being Wendy" at Dylan's Candy Bar in New York City.
The Real Housewives of New York City's new star overcame the physical and psychological scars of a horrible childhood accident to become a top model, loving wife and doting mom.
